He was born of a musical family whose roots span back over 200 years to a time when the first Black settlers arrived in Canada via the
Underground Railroad. The spirit of Corey's musical talent came before him and was passed down to him through earlier generations of talented family members. Corey's grandfather, Charlie Adams, and his father, Bucky Adams (a renowned saxophonist), have greatly influenced his style. It is not surprising that Corey is consummate in his art.
