Richard D. Gates passed away January 2, 2007 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. For those fortunate to know Rick as a friend know he was a friend for 'life'. No matter what the situation, Rick was always there for you. Supportive, compassionate, caring and giving, Rick had a way of touching hearts. Rick loved music and photography. As some of these photos on this site will attest, he had an ability to see past the surface and touch the unseen. Our lives have been enriched by his friendship and a void left in our hearts by his passing.
